Personal Profile:

Deputy Director, Key Laboratory for Information Science of Electromagnetic Waves (MoE), Fudan University; Deputy Director, Shanghai Low-Orbit Satellite Communication Collaborative Innovation Centre. Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Fudan University, Marconi Young Scholar, selected for the National Overseas High-Level Youth Talent Programme and Shanghai Overseas High-Level Talent Programme. Long-term research on high-speed optical transmission, optical access, and optical-wireless converged communications. Published over 200 papers in journals and international conferences including Nature Communications, Science Advances, IEEE JSAC, etc. Selected consecutively for Elsevier’s “Top 2% of Scientists Worldwide” (2023/24) and “China Highly Cited Researcher” (2023/24). In the past three years, principal investigator of over 10 research projects including the National Key R&D Programme for Young Scientists, NSFC Key and General Projects, and Ministry of Education Joint Fund Projects. Recipient of the 2023 Shanghai Science and Technology Young 35 Leadership Award, Marconi Young Scholar Award, IEEE Photonics Society Graduate Student Fellowship, Wang Daheng Optics Award, First Prize of Natural Science Award of China Institute of Communications (2024), First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Chinese Optical Engineering Society (2020), and Second Prize of Natural Science Award of Ministry of Education (2019). Has served as Technical Program Committee member for international conferences including OFC and SPIE-PW, and as Subcommittee Chair for OFC 2022 N4. Associate Editor of IEEE Photonics Journal, Guest Editor of IEEE Networks, Associate Editor of Frontier Communications and Networks, Young Editorial Board member of Chinese Optics Letters and Frontiers of Optoelectronics (FOE) of Chinese Laser Press. Youth Committee Member of the Communications Branch of Chinese Institute of Electronics, and Youth Committee Member of the Optical Communications and Information Networks Specialised Committee of Chinese Optical Engineering Society.
