Overview
The Faculty of the College of Future Information Technology at Fudan University brings together world-class scholars across electronic science and technology, information and communication engineering, and optical engineering — all three rated A+ in the Times Higher Education China Subject Ratings.
Our faculty is home to 2 Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, over 40 nationally recognised senior researchers, and more than 50 full professors. Together, they drive cutting-edge research in space information technology, photonic devices, future communications, and terahertz science — shaping the future of connectivity from deep space to daily life.

All of our academic departments and research centres are located on Fudan’s Jiangwan Campus, giving a concentration of talent that creates a stimulating and vibrant research culture, promotes multidisciplinary collaboration, and attracts internationally leading researchers and scholars.

Responsible for staff ideological and political work, staff Party building, strict Party governance and disciplinary inspection, confidentiality, united-front affairs, retired staff, the trade union, the women’s committee, and lifelong education. Assists with comprehensive reform, safety and stability, human resources and talent, and financial management.

Responsible for international cooperation and exchange, Hong Kong/Macao/Taiwan affairs, international student education, and Sino-foreign cooperative education.

Responsible for student ideological and political work (student Party building, work of the student Party general branch, guidance of the sub-Youth League committee and student union, etc.), news and publicity, ethical and cultural construction, and alumni and donations.

Responsible for undergraduate and graduate education and teaching, the Teaching and Experiment Centre, the Sub-Centre for Faculty Teaching Development, and the undergraduate admissions team.

Responsible for research, interdisciplinary and integrated technological innovation, industrialisation and the translation of scientific achievements, technology services for society, the Centre for Disciplinary and Academic Development, university–local cooperation, and engineering management education. Assists with development planning, discipline construction, and research and innovation platforms.

Responsible for daily administration, infrastructure maintenance, logistics, archives and informatisation, and laboratory safety. Assists with asset management. Concurrently serves as Director of the One-Stop Service Centre.
