How to apply

Applying to Fudan

Ready to apply to the College? We’re here to help. You can find all the information you need about how to apply to our postgraduate and doctorate courses, what to expect, and the key dates and deadlines you need to know.

Application Process

Applications are processed through Fudan University’s online system for international students.

Online application

Log in to the Fudan University Online Application System for International Students. Choose your programme, fill in the application form, and upload all required documents.

Pay application fee

Pay the non-refundable application fee of 800 RMB online. The application will not be processed without payment.

Assessment

The College will review your documents. Some programmes may require an interview (online or in person) — check programme-specific requirements.

Admission results

Check your admission status via the online application system. If admitted, you will be able to download the electronic Admission Notice.

  • Valid passport identification page (expiry after March 1, 2027)
  • Diploma of the highest degree conferred
  • Transcripts of the highest degree conferred
  • Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors
  • English language proficiency test score (TOEFL ≥ 90, IELTS ≥ 6.5, Duolingo ≥ 110, or PTE ≥ 61)
  • Non-criminal record certificate
  • Statement of financial capacity / financial support
  • Foreign Physical Examination Form (if applying for scholarship)
  • Other supporting documents (awards, publications, etc.)

Key Dates and Deadlines (2026 Entry)

Phase 1

October 13 – December 12, 2025

Apply for Chinese Government Scholarship (High-Level Graduate Program & Silk Road Program) and Shanghai Government Scholarship.

Phase 2

March 1 – March 31, 2026

Regular application (scholarship availability may be limited).

Enrolment: late August or early September 2026 (exact date provided on the Admission Notice).
