Education and Work Experience

Admitted to the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Science and Technology of China in 1996. Received B.Sc. (2000) and M.Sc. (2003) from USTC. Received Ph.D. from the Department of Physics, The University of Hong Kong in 2007. Joined Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2015. Joined the Department of Optical Science and Engineering, School of Information Science and Technology, Fudan University in 2021. Long-term research on spectroscopic techniques, optical and optoelectronic phenomena in semiconductor materials. Integrated optical polarisation control and phase control technologies into steady-state and time-resolved spectroscopic measurement systems, developing experimental methods for coherent manipulation of carrier spin states. Conducted Raman scattering characterisation of defect structures and photoluminescence studies of exciton effects in low-dimensional semiconductor materials using self-built optical measurement systems. Published over 100 SCI papers with >2,000 positive citations.
