Research Interests
Research focuses on two directions: the degrees of freedom in electromagnetic metamaterials and topological responses.
Topological Photonics: High-dimensional topological structures in electromagnetic systems, high-order topological responses, chiral modes, etc.
Electromagnetic Metasurfaces and Metamaterials: Polarisation responses, resonance responses, and other electromagnetic control capabilities of metasurfaces, as well as topological responses based on the degrees of freedom of electromagnetic metamaterials.
Non-Hermitian Physics: Effects of non-reciprocity and gain/loss on system modes.
Rotational Photonics: Optical control induced by Moiré structures under electromagnetic surface rotation.
Published over 40 papers in journals including Science, PRL, PNAS, Science Advances, LSA, etc. Total citations >2,000.
